Training With Us
At Dragonfly Run Equestrian Center, training isn’t one-size-fits-all and that’s exactly the way we like it.

We’re proud to offer a diverse and supportive training programs led by two accomplished instructors who each bring their own strengths, philosophies, and energy to the arena. Whether you’re just starting your journey, overcoming past challenges, or aiming to fine-tune your skills for the show ring, you’ll find thoughtful, personalized guidance here.
With options in both dressage and hunter/jumper disciplines, students are encouraged to work at their own pace, develop a deeper partnership with their horse, and build the confidence to ride with purpose.

Meet the Trainers

Tanya Betsinger
Tanya brings over two decades of experience to the arena, but what truly sets her apart is how she shows up for both horse and rider.
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Tanya has been competing in the hunter/jumper world for more than 26 years, and training riders for the last 20. Her career includes working alongside multiple Grand Prix riders and top-level trainers, giving her a deep technical foundation and a broad, real-world perspective on what it takes to succeed.

But beyond the ribbons and ring work, Tanya is known for something even more impactful—helping riders heal.
Her calm, intuitive approach has guided countless students through the emotional aftermath of past trauma, whether it stemmed from toxic student/trainer dynamics or negative equine experiences. She meets each rider where they are, offering patience, structure, and straight talk that builds trust and confidence from the ground up.

With Tanya, no two lessons look the same because no two riders are the same. She customizes her training approach to support individual goals, learning styles, and timelines, helping each student feel capable, respected, and ready for whatever’s next.
